Anastasia holds a Swedish law degree from Uppsala University, graduating in 2024, with a particular focus on migration and refugee law. In addition to her law degree, she also pursued gender studies.

While in university, before starting as a lawyer at Kliently, she worked with asylum cases as a case officer at the Swedish Migration Agency. Prior to that, she worked as an assistant at a law firm. Anastasia also has several years of experience working with women’s and girls’ shelters, as well as various volunteer engagements supporting refugees.

Anastasia has a strong interest in human rights issues and has been published in Juridisk Publikation as well as on various opinion platforms, including Aftonbladet Debatt and Dagens Juridik.

Anastasia speaks Swedish and English fluently and can also speak some Russian.

Emma Arfors

Emma holds a law degree from Umeå University, graduating in 2021, and specializes in family law and international tax law. She has several years of experience from law firms and legal practices, where she primarily worked with international tax law—particularly in matters connected to the United States—as well as custody cases and criminal law.

Emma can be retained in matters concerning custody, residence, and visitation, as counsel for victims, in cases under the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU) and the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act (LPT), as well as for advice and assistance in international tax matters.

She speaks both Swedish and English.

Atefa Jafary

Atefa holds a Swedish law degree from Stockholm University, graduating in 2023, and specializes in migration and refugee law. She most recently worked at the Swedish Migration Agency, where she handled cases concerning asylum and residence permits. She also has a strong passion for matters related to the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU) and social law.

Atefa speaks English, Swedish, Persian, and Dari.
