By submitting a request to conclude a case, you can make the Swedish Migration Agency process your application within four weeks.
It can take a long time to have the Swedish Migration Agency review and process your application. Often times their processing time is longer than a year. If you want to speed this up, you can send them a request to conclude your case. The Swedish Migration Agency will then have four weeks to make a decision. They can either grant your application, reject it, or reject your request. If they reject your request, it simply means that you won’t be able to speed the process. In this case their usual processing times applies.
You need to send in your request in writing. The Swedish Migration Agency has a special form you can fill and send in. The request can be submitted six months after you’ve submitted your original application at the earliest. Also, you can only make such a request once. That’s why it’s important you make sure you’ve submitted exactly all necessary information for the Swedish Migration Agency to be able to make a fair decision.
