If you’re a citizen of an EU country and work as an employee or run your own business in another EU country, you automatically have the right of residence. This also applies if your company has sent you to another EU country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students<\/strong>
As a student and EU citizen enrolled at a recognized educational institution in another EU country, you have the right to move freely across EU borders. However, you must be able to support yourself financially and have comprehensive health insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Retirees and economically independent individuals<\/strong>
If you’re retired or a financially independent EU citizen, you have right of residence as long as you can support yourself and don’t burden the social security system of that country. Comprehensive health insurance is also required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Family members<\/strong>
Family members of an EU citizen also have the right to move freely within the EU, even if they aren’t EU citizens themselves. This applies to spouses, registered partners, children under 21, and dependent parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
